Ohio State DB Armani Reeves Reveals What Urban Meyer Told Him During Recruitment

Ohio State defensive back Armani Reeves, who helped the team win the national title in 2014, graduated Sunday, and took some time to reflect on the past four years afterwards on Twitter. Reeves, who could be headed to Boston College to play a fifth season, revealed what head coach Urban Meyer told him during recruitment back in 2012. It sounds like Meyer made good on a few promises.

Meyer, according to Reeves, told him that he'd win a national title, sport some flashy rings and graduate. Today, the last of those promises was fulfilled.

Reeves suffered from a number of injuries during his time in Columbus, but he did record nine tackles in 2014. It sounds like he's happy with how everything turned out, regardless.
