Ohio State DE Sam Hubbard Makes Promise To Buckeyes' Players Declaring For NFL Draft

Ohio State's football team will look a lot different next season. The Buckeyes have had eight underclassmen declare for the NFL Draft (with one more player potentially getting added to that list) and have multiple senior starters departing from the program, too.

Sam Hubbard, a freshman defensive end at Ohio State, made a promise to the players who are leaving Columbus for the pros.

"We will carry on the tradition," he says.

Ohio State' losing a ton, but the Buckeyes will likely still be one of college football's best teams in 2016. With J.T. Barrett back, OSU should have a more-than-capable offense, and there's a ton of young talent to groom on defense.

Urban Meyer's team should start the season ranked in the top 10 as a contender to win the Big Ten and make the College Football Playoff.
