Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins struggled in the first half against Penn State, but the Buckeyes' Heisman Trophy contender came through when it mattered most.
Haskins led the Buckeyes on two touchdown drives with less than 10 minutes to play in the fourth quarter.
Ohio State rallied from a 12-point deficit to take down Penn State, 27-26, at Beaver Stadium in State College, Pa.
Haskins is getting a lot of praise for his fourth quarter performance, but the Ohio State quarterback knows that the comeback win was as much about his teammates as it was about him.
The quarterback tweeted the following message today:
"Ultimate team sport. I couldn’t do it without these guys. Appreciate big bro for being there for me all 4 quarters. I love my team, we’re only going to get better.." he wrote.
Well said, Dwayne.
Ohio State, No. 3 in the latest Coaches' Poll, is set to take on Indiana next weekend.
