Ohio State enters the 2018 college football season with a few more questions than answers. Of course, the largest question looming is will Urban Meyer be the team's head coach when the season begins.

Stepping away from that saga for a bit, Ohio State fans have plenty to be excited about in terms of play on the field. Although J.T. Barrett isn't under center, the Buckeyes are happy with what they've seen from Dwayne Haskins.

So much so, that former Ohio State quarterback Joe Burrow transferred to LSU. That left former star recruit Tate Martell as the backup quarterback for the upcoming season.

He's looking good too. Martell hit Johnnie Dixon with a pass in practice today that had everyone talking.

Check it out.

Talk about putting it in a place where only your receiver can go up and get it. Ohio State fans can rest easy knowing their backup QB is throwing strikes.

The Buckeyes open the season against Oregon State on September 1.
