Nick Bosa enters 2018 as a bona fide star for Ohio State. He even has a chance to outdo his older brother.

Joey Bosa was the No. 3 overall selection in the 2016 NFL Draft. He's lived up to that billing in the pros, but Nick could be chosen No. 1 overall this year.

Even if Nick Bosa doesn't beat big bro in terms of where he gets drafted, Joey says his younger sibling has already topped him on the field.

"He does a good job on his own," Joey said in an appearance on NFL Network earlier today. "Just watching and learning and applying everything that I do and that other people do. But he doesn't really need any help. He's an absolute monster and I think he's lightyears ahead of any spot I ever got to in college."

That is a major statement. Joey Bosa accounted for 106 tackles (37.5 for loss) and 18.5 sacks in his final two college seasons. His 26 career sacks is good for third place all-time in the OSU record books.

Nick isn't on pace for those stats, but he's had to share the spotlight with other outstanding teammates. Joey thinks he'll own it this season.

"People will see," Joey continued. "He hasn't had too much playing time over the last years just because of the seniors they've had and the older guys, but once he gets his full reign this year, people will understand what he's capable of, which is going to be pretty scary to watch."

Message to Ohio State opponents: you've been warned.
