Four Ohio State football players will represent the program at tomorrow’s ESPY Award Show in Los Angeles. Quarterback J.T. Barrett, who started the majority of the season, is not one of those players, despite the fact his position mates Braxton Miller and Cardale Jones will be there.
Annie Apple, the mother of Buckeye cornerback Eli Apple, is upset with the fact Barrett won’t be there, and she voiced her displeasure this afternoon on Twitter. Barrett seems to be taking things in stride though.
Lol Mrs. Apple, let’s just relax, there’s no need to be upset I’m not, thank you though, just know I’m working https://t.co/PzkMzu3Hgl

Kudos to Barrett for handling things well. We think he’s probably focused on other things, such as beating out Miller and Jones to be OSU’s starting QB this season.
