Ohio State Former 4-Star DT Donovan Munger's Career Is Over Because Of Blood Clots

Donovan Munger's career as a football player is over, Urban Meyer announced this afternoon. 

The former four-star defensive tackle recruit has pulmonary embolism, a condition in which arteries in the lungs become blocked by a blood clot.

Munger, a 6-foot-4, 300-pound prospect, had two more seasons of eligibility.

Munger was a top-300 recruit in the 2013 class. He was ranked the No. 25 DT and No. 285 player overall by 247 Sports' Composite Rankings.
