There was plenty to look forward to heading into Saturday's slate of game, and college football did not disappoint.
Eight different top-25 teams fell in defeat this weekend - three in the top 10 - shaking the latest Coaches' Poll up in a major way. Nebraska handed Michigan State its first loss of the season, thanks to a controversial call, the TCU Horned Frogs proved to be no match for a surprising Oklahoma State team and Alabama was just too much for LSU.
Ole Miss, Toledo and Texas A&M fell out of the rankings altogether after losing Saturday, while Northwestern and Wisconsin climbed back into the discussion. And after upsetting No. 13 Memphis in dominating fashion, Navy makes its debut at No. 23.
Ohio State hung on at No. 1, but Clemson continues to gain ground and now sits at No. 2, just 15 points behind the Buckeyes. Baylor and Alabama round out the top 4.
