In just a few days the Ohio State Buckeyes will face off against the Washington Huskies in the Rose Bowl. While it's not what the players and Ohio State fans wanted heading into the season, the Buckeyes will have some extra motivation to win on New Year's Day.

Head coach Urban Meyer announced his plans to retire following the game. Current offensive coordinator Ryan Day will take over as the team's head coach following the Rose Bowl.

For now, Meyer is leading his team for one last week of practice ahead of the game. On Friday afternoon, a special guest showed up to watch the Buckeyes practice.

Former Ohio State star Nick Bosa was in attendance.

Bosa suffered a core muscle injury earlier this season and left the Buckeyes program to get ready for the NFL. Now he'll be watching his team from the sidelines as they fight to win one more for Urban Meyer.

Ohio State and Washington kick off at 5:00 p.m. ET on New Year's Day. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
