Ohio State Has Updated Its Locker Room Nike Display To Reflect Its 8th National Title

Inside Ohio State's football complex, there are a plethora of signs, plaques and displays dedicated to the program's tradition-rich past and present. There's one honoring the program's national championship history, and it has been updated to reflect the Buckeyes' 2014 College Football Playoff national title, its eighth overall.

Thistweet from ESPN's Marty Smith from three weeks ago shows the display accompanied by No. 7 jerseys. An Instagram post from Ohio State's official account today indicated the program has switched out the No. 7 jerseys for a pair of 8's to symbolize the eight national championships Ohio State claims.

Just a hunch, but if Meyer continues on his current path in Columbus, the numbers on those jerseys will increased again during his tenure.
