Ohio State In Serious Trouble On The Road vs. Iowa, Down 31-17 At Halftime

So much for avoiding a letdown.

Ohio State's comeback win over Penn State seems to be having some kind of hangover effect this Saturday. The Buckeyes, who debuted at No. 6 in the initial College Football Playoff rankings this past Tuesday, currently have their hands full with Iowa on the road.

Iowa has been nearly unstoppable in the first half, jumping out to a 31-17 lead at the break. Nathan Stanley is a cool 12-of-20 for 162 yards and three touchdowns thus far.

J.T. Barrett, after his best game of the season last week, has thrown two ugly interceptions - both of which cost his team points.

It's going to take a much better performance in the second half if Ohio State is to stay part of the College Football Playoff conversation. We'll see if Barrett & Co. can rally again.
