Ohio State Lands Commitment From SF Justin Ahrens

Justin Ahrens, a three-star small forward from Versailles, Ohio, has committed to play for his home state Buckeyes.

In August, Ahrens announced his three finalists: Michigan, Ohio State, and Xavier.

He took an official visit to Michigan earlier this month, and Ohio State last weekend. After that second visit, he had seen enough, and decided to announce his commitment before heading down to Xavier.

Ahrens made it official on Sunday.

247Sports ranks Ahrens No. 170 overall and No. 40 among small forwards. He's the No. 6 recruit in the state of Ohio.

He also holds offers from Dayton, Iowa State, Missouri, Purdue, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, and others.
