In college football, it is never too early to reel in quality recruits. Ohio State just landed its second four-star commitment in the class of 2022.

West Chester (OH) Lakota West four-star offensive tackle Tegra Tshabola announced his commitment to the Buckeyes on Twitter moments ago. Tshabola chose his home state program over offers from Oklahoma, Tennessee, Florida, Texas A&M, Michigan, Penn State and others.

"My family and I have done a lot of thinking and we decided to end my recruiting process and I have decided to commit to The Ohio State University," Tshabola wrote. "Oh yea, and O-H..."

Tshabola joins New Orleans (La.) Warren Easton four-star cornerback Jyaire Brown as Ohio State's 2022 early commits. Both hold four-star ratings from 247Sports' proprietary rankings.

247Sports also ranks Tshabola the No. 2 sophomore in Ohio, the No. 6 offensive tackle and the No. 69 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle.

It's not surprising that Ohio State is off to a flying start in 2022 recruiting. The Buckeyes brought in a top-five class this year and have the No. 1 haul for 2021 as of now.
