A huge day continues for the Buckeyes.
Today has been a heck of a signing day for Ohio State.
Not only did they get a commitment from five-star offensive lineman Nicholas Petit-Frere, they also retained defensive coordinator Greg Schiano, who drew interest from the New England Patriots.
Oh, and head coach Urban Meyer said he plans on signing a contract extension soon. Not bad.
The Buckeyes also landed a commitment from a four-star prospect from New Jersey: Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic outside linebacker Javontae Jean-Baptiste.
Jean-Baptiste is the No. 16 outside linebacker in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He joins four-star defensive tackle Tyler Friday as New Jersey recruits in this year's cycle for Ohio State.
The Buckeyes continue to battle with Georgia for the top spot in the team recruiting rankings. This one will come down to the wire.
Here's a look at OSU's class thus far.
