In Columbus, Ohio, nothing is bigger than Buckeye football.
The city shuts down on fall Saturdays. There's scarlet and gray everywhere you look. Nothing seems to bring the state of Ohio's capital more joy than an Ohio State victory.
So it should come as no surprise that the members of Ohio State's 2014 national championship team have been treated like heroes in the weeks that have occurred since their victory against Oregon in the inaugural College Football Playoff National Championship Game.
Buckeye senior offensive tackle Taylor Decker knows who the true heroes are, though.
That's just a fantastic sentiment from a clearly level-headed and intelligent Ohio State student-athlete.
Well done, Taylor.
