Ohio State offensive lineman Branden Bowen, a fourth-year junior who's currently not playing due to injuries, took to Twitter late on Saturday night to reveal what it's like for Buckeyes players following a tough loss.

Urban Meyer's team, of course, fell in a shocking blowout loss to Purdue on Saturday night. A lot of Ohio State fans are pretty upset.

Unfortunately, some of these fans are taking out their frustration on the players on social media.

Bowen revealed a nasty message he got from one fan.

WARNING: The language is graphic.

That's not OK.

Bowen had a strong message for these fans, too.

"People giving up an entire season off of one *out of division game. Thank you. I don’t want to see y’all in the stands for the rest of the season, nor cheering for us when we win," he wrote.

Ohio State can bounce back. The Buckeyes still control their own destiny when it comes to the College Football Playoff. If they can win out and win the Big Ten, they'll be in.

Meyer's team is off this week before returning to Columbus to play Nebraska.
