Ohio State Players On Primetime Showdown With Michigan State: 'It's On'

It didn't take long for Ohio State's players to turn their attention to their next opponent following their blowout victory against Illinois.

It took about, oh, the amount of time it takes for them to exit the Ohio Stadium field, walk up the concrete tunnel and into the locker room.

It's Michigan State week for the Buckeyes and that means one thing.

It's on.

It's been nearly 11 months since Ohio State and Michigan State last squared off on the field. Last December, the Spartans toppled a then-undefeated Buckeye squad in the Big Ten Championship Game, ending Urban Meyer's team's hopes of making the BCS National Championship Game.

This Saturday, a 7-1 Ohio State team will travel to East Lansing, Mich. to take on a 7-1 Michigan State squad. The winner basically secures themselves a spot in the Big Ten title game and continues to be a contender for the College Football Playoff. The loser, meanwhile, will almost surely see their conference and national championship hopes die.
