One of Ohio State's top 2018 commits has a five-star rating once again.
This week, 247Sports released its new four and five-star prospects in its latest composite rankings. One of three new five-stars is Ohio State quarterback commit Emory Jones.
The 247Sports Composite Rankings factor in ratings for recruits from all the major services. Jones had been an overall five-star before but then dropped to four-stars.
Houston Alief Taylor wide receiver Brennan Eagles was the biggest mover among the new five-star prospects, jumping up 20 spots to No. 23 overall. Ohio State quarterback commit Emory Jones (No. 27 to No. 24) and Penn State running back commit Ricky Slade (No. 28 to No. 26) also moved into the five-star range of the recruiting industry-generated ranking.
With this news, Jones joins defensive tackle Taron Vincent as five-star players in OSU's 2018 recruiting class.
Jones is also the No. 2 dual-threat quarterback in the 2018 class, behind Penn State commit Justin Fields.
