Earlier this week it was reported that Georgia freshman quarterback Justin Fields intended to transfer from the program following the team's bowl game against Texas. Fields, a former five-star QB recruit, played behind sophomore sensation Jake Fromm this year and would be in line to back up Fromm once again next season.

With that weighing on his mind, Fields entered his name into the transfer portal and intends to leave if he can find the right fit. Ohio State is the heavy favorite to land the star quarterback given his relationship with future Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day.

After Ohio State was noted as the favorite to land Fields, many wondered what would happen to Tate Martell - who backed up Dwayne Haskins this season.

Well, Martell appeared to have a message for Fields. "Word of advice. Don't swing and miss...especially not your second time," Martell tweeted.

Martell then liked a message asking if his tweet was meant for Justin Fields.

It looks like Martell isn't going down without a fight - if Fields does transfer to Ohio State that is. This could get interesting, stay tuned.
