Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott Wins Sullivan Award, Given To Nation's Top Amateur Athlete

Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott was named the winner of the 2014 AAU James E. Sullivan Award, given to the nation's top amateur athlete. 

Elliott, a rising junior tailback for the national champion Buckeyes, rushed for 1,878 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2014, including a stellar 246-yard, four-touchdown game in the national title contest against Oregon. 

One of six finalists for the award, Elliott accepted the award in person at the New York Athletic Club in Manhattan Sunday afternoon.
