When the Ohio State Buckeyes take the field this afternoon for a Big Ten showdown against the Wisconsin Badgers, they'll be missing a key offensive weapon.
According to multiple reports, Austin Mack will not play for the Buckeyes this afternoon.
Mack will watch in street clothes from the sideline as his team looks to continue its undefeated season. He entered Saturday as a game-time decision, but couldn't quite get right before the game.
Here's the official word from Ohio State reporter Austin Ward.
Mack suffered a broken foot in his left foot last season, but played in every games for the Buckeyes this year. He sits fourth on the team in receptions and receiving yards and has been a valuable outlet for quarterback Justin Fields.
In his absence, fellow wideout Chris Olave should see increased playing time.
Ohio State and Wisconsin kick off at 12:00 p.m. ET on FOX.
