Earlier this week a Michigan recruit made headlines when he suggested Ohio State won't win a game against the Wolverines when he's there. "I don’t think anybody is going to get any gold pants any time soon," three-star Michigan recruit Joey Velasquez said.

Naturally, that didn't go over too well with several of Ohio State's players.

Star defensive lineman Dre'Mont Jones decided to tweet back at the recruit.

"Stay in a child's place kid," Jones tweeted.

The Michigan Wolverines haven't found much success against their arch rival in recent years. Ohio State owns "The Game" over the past 18 years and has dominated the Wolverines with a 16-2 record since 2001.

This year was supposed to change the narrative as Jim Harbaugh and company entered as the favorite and a threat for the College Football Playoff. However, the Buckeyes sent Urban Meyer out as a winner, with a dominant performance on both sides of the ball en route to a 62-39 win.

Perhaps recruits should wait to call their shots once they win a game.
