Ohio State five-star wide receiver commit Trevon Grimes will miss the rest of his senior season after tearing his ACL.

Grimes suffered the injury on Friday night, and the diagnosis of a torn ACL was reported by 247Sports earlier today.

Grimes released a heartfelt statement on Twitter tonight regarding his injury and upcoming rehab.

Grimes is a top-20 prospect nationally and the No. 3 wide receiver in the 2017 class. Getting hurt certainly is a disappointing way for him to cap off a brilliant high school career, but he should be good to go in time for next season.

Currently, the Buckeyes have the No. 1 recruiting class in the country.
