Ohio State and Oregon have met a total of eight times on the gridiron, and unfortunately for Ducks fans, the Buckeyes have prevailed in every matchup. That statistic includes the 2010 Rose Bowl, which Ohio State won 26-17.

Thursday, the school reminded its fans of that fact by dedicating its "Throwback Thursday" Instagram post to the event. Needless to say, it's a well-timed troll job.

As big as the Rose Bowl is, Monday's title game matchup is far more important. We'll see if Ohio State can make it nine straight.
