This Saturday, No. 6 Ohio State faces the Indiana Hoosiers in Bloomington. This is the first Big Ten game for both schools this season. Indiana has put up a tough fight against OSU in recent history. But the Buckeyes have dominated the match-up winning 24 straight.
Both teams are 2-0 entering Saturday’s game. Ohio State has been impressive to say the least. In week one, the Buckeyes took down FAU 45-21. The following game, OSU shutout Cincinnati en route to a 42-0 victory.
Quarterback Justin Fields has been phenomenal. The Georgia transfer has nine touchdowns on the year already. But facing a Big Ten opponent will be a whole new test for the young QB.
Indiana started out the year with an underwhelming 34-24 win over Ball State. But the Hoosiers responded with an impressive 52-0 victory against Eastern Illinois. IU will need to be at its best this weekend to pull of an upset.
Here are the details for Saturday’s contest:
Game Time: Noon ET
Spread: Ohio State -18
Announcers: Gus Johnson, Joel Klatt, Jenny Taft
Ohio State has put up 49 points in each of the last two contests against Indiana. But the Hoosiers have been competitive — particularly in the first half — in both games. If Indiana can put together a complete game, this contest may be closer than anticipated.
The game kicks off at noon ET on FOX.
