Ohio State's Ezekiel Elliott Has To "Play School," Miss Out On Cincinnati Reds' Game With Teammates Tonight

Ohio State's 2014 national champion football team is set to get honored at the Cincinnati Reds' game tonight. Its Opening Night for the ball club, which faces the Pittsburgh Pirates at 7:10 p.m. E.T. at Great American Ball Park. Urban Meyer and a couple of his players will be throwing out first pitches.

One popular Buckeye will not be in attendance; star running back Ezekiel Elliott has to "play school."

Elliott originally planned on wearing a St. Louis Cardinals (his hometown team) hat to the game, which upset some Reds' fans.

Then he cryptically said he wouldn't be going to the game.

It's because he has class, though.

Anyone who was actually upset at Elliott for planning on wearing a Cardinals' hat needs to re-evaluate their life. Hopefully stats class is somewhat entertaining.
