Ohio State's Johnathan Hankins Will Enter 2013 NFL Draft

"Big Hank" off to play with the big boys.

Scoop: Ohio State star defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins will forego his senior season with the Buckeyes for a chance to enter the 2013 NFL Draft, the school announced today.

Significance: Hankins is widely considered to be a first-round prospect at the next level. He'll obviously be missed at Ohio State, but this doesn't come as a surprise to Buckeye faithful.

Story: Hankins was quoted as saying "I have decided, with the support of my family, to forego my senior season at Ohio State in order to enter the NFL Draft. I will always be grateful for the family I have gained here at Ohio State." Hankins was all-Big Ten in 2012, leading the Buckeyes to a 12-0 season in the process. Hankins could be one of the first names called off the board this April.
