Ohio State's Urban Meyer To Play In MLB's All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game

Before he became one of college football's greatest coaches ever, Urban Meyer tried to make it as a professional baseball player. He was selected in the 13th round of the 1982 Major League Baseball Draft and spent two seasons in the minor leagues before deciding to focus solely on football. 

We're going to get another look at Urban Meyer the baseball player. 

The Ohio State coach is going to play in the MLB's All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game in Cincinnati. You can view the full rosters here

The All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game is the second game of an exciting doubleheader at Great American Ball Park on All-Star Sunday. Preceding the softball game will be the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game, which will air live on MLB Network, MLB.com and SiriusXM at 3:00 p.m. ET, featuring MLB's best young prospects from the U.S. and around the world.

The game is set to take place July 12.
