LeCharles Bentley, a former Ohio State star center and two-time Pro Bowler, is training Buckeye NFL Draft hopeful Pat Elflein.
Bentley was the 2001 winner of the Dave Rimington Award, given to college football's top center, and a consensus All-American. He went on to be a second round pick by the New Orleans Saints. He made two Pro Bowls in six pro seasons, and now trains offensive linemen.
Elflein is the 2016 Rimington Award winner and and a First Team All-American this past season. CBS Sports has him as the No. 2 center in the 2017 NFL Draft class and the No. 74 prospect overall.
Today, one Buckeye Rimington Award winner trained another.
Once again, Ohio State should be putting a ton of talent into the NFL, and a good center goes a long way. Elflein shouldn't wait too long to hear his name called once the NFL Draft rolls around.
