Saturday was a pretty big recruiting day for the Ohio State football program. The Buckeyes' spring game took place, so a decent amount of the country's top prospects were in Columbus to take in the action. Unsurprisingly, the day didn't end without Urban Meyer getting some commitments.
One player who couldn't make the trek up to Ohio for the day was Trevon Grimes, a five-star wide receiver in the 2017 class out of St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.).
The Buckeyes seem to be in pretty good shape with the elite prospect, though.
Grimes, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound wide receiver, is ranked the No. 1 player at his position and the No. 7 player overall by 247 Sports' Composite Rankings. He is widely regarded as a significant Ohio State lean.
