Mention J.T. Barrett's controversial first down from the 2016 Ohio State-Michigan game to a Wolverine fan and you might see he or she pop a conniption. To say it is a sore spot is putting it mildly.
Naturally, Barrett used his famous (or infamous) play, which is etched in OSU-Michigan lore, to poke fun at the Maize and Blue today.
On Instagram, Barrett posted a picture of him lunging for the critical first down, followed by a shot of Curtis Samuel carrying the football. Samuel scored the game-winning touchdown for the Buckeyes that afternoon three years ago.
"J.T. was short, Go Bucks, The GaXe," Barrett wrote in the caption of the post.
Barrett, Urban Meyer and others are having fun at Michigan's expense before today's game. Will the Buckeyes have the last laugh this afternoon, or will Michigan snap its lengthy losing streak to its biggest rival?
Ohio State and Michigan will kick off at noon ET today from Ann Arbor. Catch the action on FOX.
