Ohio State Recruit Takes Shot At Penn State Following Nittany Lions Receiving Commitment From His 5-Star Teammate

Tyler Green doesn't care about your five-star commitment, Penn State.

The Nittany Lions received a pledge today from Shane Simmons, a 6-foot-2, 223-pound five-star defensive end in the 2016 class. Simmons plays at DeMatha Catholic in Hyattsville, Md. with Ohio State commit Tyler Green, a safety in the 2015 class.

Green reacted to Simmons' commitment by poking fun at his teammate's future school while bragging about his. Simmons was said to also be considering Ohio State, among other top schools.

Ohio State has certainly gotten the best of Penn State on the field in recent seasons, as referenced by Green's tweet about last year's 63-14 Buckeye drubbing, but James Franklin has the State College fan base optimistic for the future. This is a rivalry that could be heating up in the seasons to come.
