Ohio State's football facility, the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, is located a couple blocks off main campus, on Olentangy River Road behind the Schottenstein Center.
Due to its location, nearly every Buckeye football player has to drive to Ohio State's bunker of a training center for practice, lifting sessions, film studying, etc. There's a private lot, with a motorized gate, designated for the Buckeyes' staff and players to park. Apparently, OSU Campus Parc has been ticketing players that park in the lot without an appropriate pass.
They're not happy about it. Here's tight end Jeff Heuerman's mini-rant on the subject:
A parking ticket at Ohio State normally costs $40 to $60. Does a player's scholarship cover a ticket when it occurs as a result of a football obligation?
