Photo: Shelley Meyer Sends Care Package To Reporter Who's Been In The ICU For 5 Months

This past September, sports reporter Natalie Pierre Williams was severely injured in a car fire near her home in Hoover, Alabama. Williams, who suffered burns to 75% of her body and has since undergone multiple surgeries, has been in the UAB ICU for five months. It looks like the wife of one of college football's top coaches is rooting for her.

This past week, Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer's wife, Shelley, sent a care package to Williams in the ICU. It included a Christmas card, a book titled "Jesus Today" and a personal note. In the letter, Meyer reminds her that they met this past July and wishes her the best. Williams tweeted out a photo:

Needless to say, this is awesome - regardless of which fan base you root for. We join Meyer in wishing Williams the best in her recovery.
