Former Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones will take the field again soon. Jones spent three years in the NFL after his Buckeyes career, which featured an impressive run to the national championship in 2014.
After being drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, Buffalo shipped him to the Los Angeles Chargers the following year, where he spent the 2017 and 2018 seasons.
After a brief on the Seattle Seahawks practice squad, Jones moved to an entirely different league. He signed on with the DC Defenders of the XFL.
On Tuesday afternoon, the team released the first images of Jones in his new uniform.

Jones will be re-united with offensive lineman Chase Farris. The two were teammates when Ohio State won the national championship back in 2014.
The two will be back in action next February when the XFL kicks off.
