Photos: Ohio State Replaces FieldTurf In Ohio Stadium

It's the college football offseason, which means numerous programs are upgrading facilities ahead of the 2014 campaign. One such program is Ohio State, which is currently in the process of installing new FieldTurf for the Buckeyes this fall. The school has been using the artificial surface since 2007, and recently decided to upgrade both of its practice fields and Ohio Stadium in order to save money.

Here are some photos of the fresh new surface. It's also been noted that the turf itself might be a bit longer than its predecessor.

Ohio State's first home game this upcoming season will be against Virginia Tech on September 6th under the lights. Expect the bright new field to look beautiful.
