While most of this week's rivalry games turned out like we thought they would, there were a few results that greatly affect the College Football Playoff picture. Ohio State's win over Michigan is the big one.

Washington State's loss to Washington on Friday night will also change the way the rankings look on Tuesday.

Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame and Georgia all prevailed, and they will likely be the top four teams when the fifth set of rankings are unveiled.

Oklahoma and Ohio State will likely follow. Those are the six teams that still have realistic shots at playing for it all.

Let's take a look at the projected College Football Playoff rankings heading into conference championship week.

  1. Alabama
  2. Clemson
  3. Notre Dame
  4. Georgia
  5. Oklahoma
  6. Ohio State
  7. Michigan
  8. UCF
  9. Washington State
  10. LSU

The fifth version of the College Football Playoff rankings will come out Tuesday.
