A college football recruiting insider thinks one major program could be a “done deal” for quarterback transfer Tate Martell.
Martell, who’s entered his name into the NCAA’s transfer portal, visited West Virginia on Sunday.
Today, Martell is heading to Miami, which boasts a roster featuring some of his high school teammates.
Recruiting guru Woody Womack thinks Miami is a “done deal” for Martell, as long as the Hurricanes want him.
“If Miami says yes, it’s a done deal for Tate, IMO,” he tweeted.

This comes after Martell posted a photo on Instagram, revealing a flight to Miami, Florida.
Tate Martell, it would appear according to IG, is on his way to Miami.
Not unexpected, but, there’s a plane and a boarding pass involved now.

Martell has a couple of high school teammates now playing for Miami. Those teammates have been recruiting him to the Hurricanes.
Louisville has also been mentioned as a possible destination for Martell.
It’s unclear what kind of timeline Martell will be operating on when making a decision, but if he loves Miami (and the Hurricanes love him) it looks like one could come soon.
