Five-star football recruit Curtis Samuel, who hails from Brooklyn, New York, has narrowed his decision down to two schools - Ohio State and Rutgers. Samuel, who received offers from numerous programs, is both a skill athlete and a defensive back.
According to his position coach, Ray Lizzi, Samuel really enjoyed his visit to Ohio State the weekend of July 26. Still, the Scarlet Knights have been interested in his services since day one and the school's proximity could be a factor in his decision. Rutgers was the first team to offer Samuels, during his sophomore year.
Samuel should make his decision in the next couple of weeks. Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes are rumored to have a commanding lead coming down the stretch.
