Report: Braxton Miller Re-Injures Shoulder, Season Currently In Doubt

Update 2: Jeremy Fowler of CBS Sports has more details. As of now, Miller is scheduled for an MRI in the morning.

Update: We've got a little more info on Miller's status. Cleveland.com claims the injury came during the team's 7-on-7 drill in the afternoon practice.

A source confirmed a Miller injury to cleveland.com and said that Miller left the field in significant pain after again hurting his right shoulder during a seven-on-seven drill on Monday. 

According to Patrick Maks of Eleven Warriors, Miller's arm has been placed in a sling. We'll update you when we have more.

Earlier: Ohio State fans - there may be a bit of bad news coming this week for the Buckeyes. According to Tim May of the Columbus Dispatch, star quarterback Braxton Miller, considered a Heisman Trophy favorite, re-injured his right shoulder at practice on Monday. May also claimed that Miller's season could be "in jeopardy."

Miller had surgery on the shoulder this past February after injuring it during the team's Orange Bowl contest against Clemson. Though he claimed to be "100%" at different times during the past few months, the coaching staff was cautious and somewhat limited his involvement. 

Ohio State's backup quarterback, redshirt-freshman J.T. Barrett, will likely get the start against Navy to open the season.
