Former Ohio State Buckeye Deshaun Thomas is currently projected as a second round pick in most NBA mock drafts, but if he wants it to stay that way, he might want to start being a little more cooperative.
Thomas reportedly refused to give the San Antonio Spurs his phone number this past week. From ohio.com:
But the most interesting, he said, was the fact the Spurs’ first question was for his cell phone number and his e-mail address. He gave them the e-mail, but not the phone number.
“I can’t go around giving it out to everyone,” Thomas said Thursday with a laugh. “Now if they want to draft me, I’d be happy to give it to them.”
Last I checked, the Spurs are not some second-rate organization. And even if they were, I'd probably give them whatever the heck they wanted.
