Ohio State redshirt freshman quarterback J.T. Barrett dislocated his ankle and has a probable broken bone, according to a report by the Columbus Dispatch's Tim May.
Barrett, a Heisman contender, exited the Buckeyes' game against Michigan this afternoon early in the fourth quarter. He was carted off the field wearing an air cast.
Ohio State went on to beat Michigan, 42-28.

Barrett appeared to watch the end of the contest from the stands. Urban Meyer said after the game he is not aware of his quarterback's status.
Ohio State, 11-1, will face the winner of Minnesota-Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship Game next Saturday.
