Just a few days ago, Ohio State freshman tight end Marcus Baugh was arrested on charges of underage consumption and carrying a fake identification.
Of course, all college football programs face these kinds of infractions at some point, but this one apparently really set off head coach Urban Meyer and assistant AD Mickey Marotti. According to Kyle Rowland of ElevenWarriors, Meyer took his anger out on the entire team in summer workouts yesterday:
Am told Urban Meyer not thrilled with Marcus Baugh’s arrest. Mickey Marotti made team run 24 55-yd. sprints, back to back. 2x normal amount.

While running an extra 660 yards really isn’t that harsh, we’re sure Baugh’s teammates probably aren’t too thrilled with him. Meyer is trying to send a message that this kind of stuff won’t be tolerated, but only time will tell if he got his point across.
