Report: Urban Meyer Was Upset With 2 NFL Scouts Wearing Blue On Campus

Too far?

As the head football coach at Ohio State, you'd expect Urban Meyer to make his disdain for the Michigan Wolverines well known. But according to Fox Sports' Zac Jackson, he may have gone overboardinstituting a "color policy" earlier this month.

On the first day NFL scouts were allowed to observe Ohio State's practice this month, at least two were wearing blue. And at some point during their time in Ohio State's facility, Meyer's message about what not to wear was passed along through Ohio State and staffers and even involved some players yelling to the scouts that blue was not welcome.

If that's not enough, the scouts were then given OSU shirts.

Eventually, those scouts in blue were given Ohio State shirts to wear for the duration of their visit.

Ohio State fans - is Meyer potentially upsetting NFL scouts worth enforcing this kind of policy? Or does this go too far?
