The expectations are high at Ohio State. Just ask Nina Day, wife of Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day.

This afternoon, Day shared a funny story with the media. After Friday night's win over Northwestern, his wife had a message for him.

She told the first-year head coach it was a "tough first quarter." The Buckeyes led 7-3 after one stanza before 24 unanswered second-quarter points broke the game open.

Great anecdote from Day, but the scary thing is, only being up 7-3 is a tough start for the Buckeyes these days. They have been dominating opponents from the jump all season, outscoring teams 73-11 in the opening quarter.

In the second quarter, it gets even worse for whoever OSU is playing. Through seven games, the Buckeyes have outscored opposing teams 158-20 in the 15 minutes before halftime.

The schedule for the Buckeyes is about to get a little tougher though. In their final five games, they have to play Wisconsin, Penn State and Michigan with two cupcakes against Maryland and Rutgers squeezed in.

Ohio State will take on the Badgers at noon ET this Saturday on FOX.
