Four-star quarterback Ryan Hilinski committed to South Carolina in April. That hasn’t stopped other schools from pursuing him.
The younger brother of late former Washington State quarterback Tyler Hilinski was recently offered by Ohio State. The Buckeyes joined LSU and UCLA in offering the Orange (Calif.) Lutheran star after he committed to the Gamecocks.
Hilinski confirmed the offer on Twitter last week.

Now, there’s no indication as of now that Hilinski is wavering on his pledge to South Carolina. He is one of 13 quarterbacks the Buckeyes have offered in the 2019 cycle, and Ohio State is considered to have a strong chance at landing four-star Grant Gunnell.
Hilinski’s brother Tyler was projected to be the starting quarterback at Washington State this upcoming season until he tragically took his own life in January.
Since then, Ryan Hilinski has kept his brother’s memory alive on social media and beyond.
Big Ty! The time has come. Thank you for everything yesterday… I’m bringing you and the family with me!
