The Buckeyes' star defensive lineman says this is what OSU is focusing on.

If you're an Ohio State fan, it's probably easy to look ahead to a potential College Football Playoff berth.

If the Buckeyes win out, what has to happen for us to make it?

For the Buckeyes' players, though, that can't be the focus. OSU's players admitted they looked past Iowa a couple of Saturdays ago and we all know what happened as a result.

So, this is Ohio State's focus moving forward, according to star defensive lineman Sam Hubbard.

“I think we don’t want to look too far ahead. We don’t want to look backwards,” Hubbard told reporters. “We want to focus on the next two games and getting to the Big Ten championship.”

That's a good mindset to have.

Ohio State and Illinois are set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. E.T. on Saturday.
