Thompson says he'd make the most of the opportunity if given it.
The NBA Dunk Contest underwhelmed on Saturday night. After giving us one of the best contests we'd seen in 2016, we got one of the worst this year. Former Michigan star Glenn Robinson III, now an Indiana Pacer, won the contest on this dunk.
The contest as a whole is pretty hit or miss now and has seemed to underwhelm more than it's overwhelmed in recent years.
A former Ohio State basketball player has a way to fix that - put him in the contest.
For those who forget what Thompson can do:
Yeah, that'd probably work in a dunk contest.
Thompson, 24, currently plays for a team in Hungary.
