Earlier today, we noted in our weekly update on Buckeyes in the NFL that Santonio Holmes was injured this weekend and could miss a large chunk of time.
According to Rich Cimini of ESPN, Holmes is out for the remainder of the season with that same foot injury. He had recorded 20 catches for 272 yards and a touchdown before getting hurt in San Francisco on Sunday.
This former Super Bowl MVP will surely be missed by a struggling New York squad. This injury represents even more bad news for former Ohio State players, as linebacker Brian Rolle was cut by the Eagles on Tuesday.
