Earlier this week, Ohio State placed Urban Meyer on paid administrative leave following a bombshell report from Brett McMurphy. The report alleged Meyer knew about assault allegations against his former wide receivers coach Zach Smith.

Meyer later confirmed he did, in fact, know about the assault allegations and that he reported them properly, a fact he lied about at Big Ten Media Days the week prior. Ohio State has created an investigative committee that will look into Urban Meyer and the situation as a whole.

In the meantime, Ryan Day will serve as the team's interim coach.

But who will coach Ohio State's first game? BetMyBookie released new odds.

The investigation will likely take some time, making it unknown as to when Urban Meyer would be able to return to the program if he is cleared of any wrongdoing.

However, he's still the favorite to coach the Buckeyes in the team's first game of the season. He's followed closely behind by Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell and interim Ohio State coach Ryan Day.

Ohio State opens the season against Oregon State on September 1.
